Local Events & Activities

The town is bustling with activity during the Festival week. At the town Arena there are all sorts of displays and sales of Newfoundland crafts, homemade baked goods, game booths, food and refreshment booths, community organization displays, and much more for you to enjoy. As well, a general information booth and first aid station will be open for services.

Some of Our Annual Events Include:

Giant Festival Parade

The “Street Dance”, “Fireworks” & Long-Liner Parade
You might choose to travel by foot for this event! The one and only traffic jam the community has each year happens tonight! This event is a great success. It is held on Manuel’s ValuFoods Parking Lot, the admission is free, and everyone is welcome! This event is followed by the Fireworks over Twillingate Harbour. A long-liner parade is also held, providing the local long liners are available at that time!

There are tons of activities here all summer long as well!
